Studying the Holy Spirit in El Carreto

In past weeks, Alan had the opportunity to teach Pneumatology in the little village of El Carreto in south Honduras. This class is part of World Reach's innovative educational program called the MBI (Mobile Bible Institute), which seeks to reach rural pastors and leaders in several countries (more info on Worls Reach and the MBI: www.world-reach.org).

This was a great experience for Alan, because he saw the strong commitment with the Lord of a wonderful group of brothers and sisters in Christ. Indeed, they showed enthusiasm and willingness to learn in every moment.

The class covered subjects such as:

The Holy Spirit in the Old Testament, The Holy Spirit in Jesus' life, The Holy Spirit in the book of Acts, The Holy Spirit and salvation, Baptism and Fullness of the Spirit, Christian Spirituality and a study about the Pentecostal movement.

In spite of the heat and humidity in the first couple of days, and then the heavy rain, time was short to remember, think and learn in the facts and implications of this relevant Christian doctrine.

From this space of expression, Alan wants to thank each brother and sister who participated as student or help in the organization during that time. They are a very special group of people.
